Philips Xenium X530 is the latest flip phone to bear the Philips name – although it’s actually manufactured by a Chinese company that bought the mobile division of Philips Electronics.
Apart from having a powerful battery the rest of the phone is pretty much basic and entry level. Clamshell Philips Xenium X530 is made of glossy plastic. It supports a network of second-generation tri-band; the dimensions are 99, 1 x 47, 1 x 18 mm. The outer screen is small (1 inch) and made by OLED technology. Inter TFT-display has a diagonal of 2.2 inches and supports a resolution of 320X240 pixels. Among the multimedia features: music player (MP3, AAC, AAC +, WMA and WAV), 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM-radio with RDS.
Battery Philips Xenium X530 has a capacity of 950 mAh. It can provide up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 850 hours of standby time. Reports are suggesting that this phone will only be made available in Asia and Europe when Launched. Unfortunately no details on pricing and a release date have been made available.
