Philips is preparing to announce the new touchscreen phone that is called the Philips Xenium X806. But touch interface does not  mean that it is a smartphone. The device is not a smartphone – it supports only platform Java. The importance of it  is connecting device to a computer with the help which  it can be used as a network camera.
Philips Xenium X806 is made in monoblock form factor and supports the work simultaneously with two sim-cards. It features 3 inch display with a resolution of 240 by 400 pixels, capacitive, 260 thousand colors, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.  The illumination LED for video recording, Face Detection, White Balance, eliminating the effects of shaking hands and red-eyes, portrait and landscape modes shooting, shooting in low light, sensitivity to light – 1600 ISO. Philips Xenium X806 also supports memory cards microSD, FM-radio and Bluetooth modul.  Lithium-ion battery provides 480 minutes of talk time or 850 hours in standby to the device.
