Philips Xenium X520 is an outstanding representative of long-lived phones. Together with companies Energizer and Techtium, Philips has developed a new phone and called it X520. The model is notable for an interesting feature. If you suddenly have discharged battery and you are not able to charge it, you can use AAA size battery and recharge the battery with the help of it.
There is a 2-megapixel CMOS camera which has no autofocus and no flash. The quality of obtained images is at middle level.
The handset is equipped with Bluetooth module, protocol version 2.0. There is a small amount of memory in the device, about 10 mb, but the device has a slot for expansion cards. You can use a memory card, microSD, up to 2 GB.  Philips Xenium X520 supports FM radio with 20 stations.
The battery of the phone Xenium X520 provides up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 1 month – in standby mode.
Philips Xenium X520 is made in the classic form-factor  without an external antenna. There is a special compartment for AAA batteries in the back. Recommended Energizer Lithium AAA battery provides up to 2.5 additional hours of talk time and up to one additional week in standby mode. In the case of discharge of the battery the phone will automatically get access to backup power.
